Musicommand FAQ

 

1. What do I need to set up this program?


Musicommand doesn’t require any custom or proprietary equipment. An external microphone and a computer meeting minimum processing and graphics requirements are all you need to get started learning to play an instrument. A Musicommand audio driver is required. Musicommand currenly is available for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.

 

2. Do I use this during the lesson or is this something supplemental to the lesson?


Musicommand can be used as a stand-alone teaching method or as a supplement to another teaching method. Learn more about Musicommand curriculum.

 

3. Does Musicommand meet requirements of the California Certificate of Merit?


Musicommand’s curriculum was developed by a team of noted master educators and performers utilizing applicable standards set forth by the National Association of Music Educators as well as the Music Teachers Association of California, in addition to the individual teaching philosophies these valuable contributors have to offer. 5. How many different instruments is the program created for?
